The welfare of the dogs is the top priority at all events of the SSV. Accordingly, the club controls the observance of all animal welfare relevant factors on the racecourse. The basics for this are laid down in the animal protection regulations, which are passed by the animal protection and sports commission of the SSV and updated if necessary. The currently valid animal protection regulations are published on the website and are an integral part of the rules of conduct on all racecourses (in addition to the respective race regulations).
